I discern it's nothing like taking a class, lessons, or maybe even using Rosetta Stone on a computer but what cd/book programs are right?
Sky-rocket Spanish is great audio course to learn spanish.

Can I get a regular CD player to listen to audio books on CD?
Feb 11, 2009 by Emilgirl | Posted in Other - Electronics
I have a adherent who has poor vision. I want her to listen to some audio books but I do not know what type of player to get her. Is there a special player for audio books? Where is a good stead to get audio players online or in philly? Please help me.
Get a CD speculator that can play MP3 CD's, too. Audio books are often 10-15 CD's, but ripped to MP3 can fit on just a couple CD's. Also a lot of downloadable books from libraries are now available in MP3, too.
Maybe a cheap MP3 actor would do as well, something like the Creative Zen Stone which doesn't have a display so it can be worked poor/no vision. Players with displays often are almost hopeless to use if you can't see the display -- too much "click until you see such and such."

Best iTunes import settings for an audio book cd?
May 19, 4829 by magneto | Posted in Music & Music Players
I have an audio register on cd that I want to import into my iTunes library, and then put onto my ipod. What do you recommend as the best import settings?
I well-deserved use the same as for my music - MP3/192 kbps. You can always change the EQ setting on your iPod when you're listening to it as well.

recommendations for audio cd books?
May 19, 2721 by blue_bee | Posted in Books & Authors
Hello.! For a protracted time, I have not listened to audio books; however, i find them very entertaining and nice to tk when i go on long walks....i'm currently listening to "My Sister's Guardian" by Jodi Picoult....I'm not sure what other audio books are out there.....i would appreciate any recommendations.!
Solely about any book there is that does well is made into a audiobook. If you are interested in it, it comes in audio form.
I can recommend good narrators, because the narrator makes the audiobook. Jim Dale is bizarre, Rob Ellis is good, and Grover Gardner is good, too.
Do you know about LibriVox? It's a website with free, legal audiobooks. Almost every book that is in the public domain is there; Jane Austen, Dumas, Chopin, there are hundreds to choose from and they are easy to access. Delighted listening.
