Hoarse, I'll try the talc idea on my books
Source and Takbir I'm not to sure about wasting alcohol like that... ;-)
I don't think I can get goo gone where I am, Xox.
I can do my meretricious cd covers in soap and water, Innocent so i'll give you best answer for giving me the cheapest/easiest option...
i
in actuality if you can, just get a napkin and soak it in soapy (use dishwashing soap) water and then place it on top of the sticky stuff (that's for objects you can't dip in water. if you can soak the object in water, just go right ahead) after a while, it should soften it up and you can scratch it right off.

never use acetones but you should try alcohols as ethanol or isopropanol, but if you use acetone it will storm plastic and will form sticky layer of adhesive and mark on the plastic

go to the stockpile and buy a bottle of Goo Gone (that's the actual product name). It removes the sticky stuff that's left behind when you peel off a identify.

Fire-water is a common house hold cleaner that won't melt most plastics like acetone.

How many more jobs are we going to send to a country that bans the word Democracy on books,CD's, e.t.c.?

Condign because the big business deserves to make money. We gave our jobs to the anti democracies and now we're slowly losing ours.
I bet after this depression brought on by the US housing market and so on, countries who we shipped our jobs to, like China, will be looking else ware to hyperbolize tons of money with their cheap and sometimes dangerous products.
This is a very sympathetic question.
The simple answer is as long as theres money to be made.
In the UK the Government have been encouraging companies to dump British workers and embark production to places like China because-
It helps Banks make huge profits on the exchange reprimand mechanism.
It gets hugely profitable goods into High Street retailers which are bought on credit so the Banks attack high interest rates and make more money.
The goods are bought in so cheap, and then rebranded by retailers with their own "good" name, to disguise the products origins, and then sold on to gullible consumers at inflated prices, the Governments moolah in on VAT taxation.
Consumers effectivelly borrow money off the Banks on credit cards, to buy over inflated price goods, which they cant supply, in order to line the pockets of the Banks and Government.
Of course by doing this Government and Bank sponsored borrowing and buying of Chinese goods, consumers are depriving themselves and their man countrymen of jobs, and British industry of investment.
Apart from this the Banks, Government and Consumers are wittingly and with full expertise supporting a regime well known for executions, injustice, torture, corruption, cruelty and oppression.
Money is a profound smokescreen, and justifies anything.

How can I start my own collection of books on cd without paying alot of money?

I'm looking for manumitted ways to get books on cd. websites? trading sites? catalogs?
Well, in theory, you could take CDs out of the library and along copies on the computer. It's technically a copyright violation to do so -- meaning you'd break the law -- but that's your decision.

What are the best peer to peer websites for downloading books on cd's and podcast?
Aug 25, 2008 by Lee S | Posted in Other - Computers
Where can I find practical books on cd and cool podcast online where I can download? Thanks for your help.
Look to peer for books would be illegal. You need to use a site that has permission to release the material. If you want them for free, you can google "undo audiobooks" and use a legal site. The selection will be limited but that's because it's free.
For podcasts, just google your favorite lay open with the word "podcast". I guarantee there will be at least one on your favorite topic.
