What are some good ways to ask companies to advertise/donate to a church cookbook?
Apr 11, 2007 by erin w | Posted in Small Business
At my limited church, we are putting together a cookbook that includes contributions from various members of the community. We are going to try and get local companies that are either affected in the community or in the church to make a donation by advertising in the book. Any suggestions on ways to ask companies this?
Fair-minded ask! and make sure to let them know you'll give them copies at cost! They make great gifts from Businesses to the clients at Christmas! So if the trade gets a good deal on the cookbooks and they are advertising in it! It's a win win!
Always approach your current members of the church who own their own business, then always ask for a referral to another business!

Need ideas for the title of a church cookbook?
Apr 14, 2010 by pastelifesaver | Posted in Cooking & Recipes
My church is putting together a cookbook. Now that we've got the recipes together, we demand to come up with a catchy title for the name of the book. Would love to hear of any of your creative titles you would like to share.
The Church Ladies Cookbook
Delightful Hash (and Other Good Eats)
Man (and Woman) Does Not Live By Bread Alone
Praise the Lord, and Pass the Pot Roast
Our inconsequential church is putting together a cookbook, too. No catchy title expected.

Any places to have a church cookbook printed in Evansville, IN?
Jan 19, 2010 by inquiring | Posted in Other - US Local Businesses
Looking to have a little church's cookbook put to production but unsure of printers in town who might do this for a reasonable price. Only looking for about 200 copies of the soft-cover total. < 250 recipes in it all told.
How about your restricted Kinkos?

I was looking through some cookbooks I had been given, the church fundraising type, and I have a question.?

Is there a procedure in any of these church fundraiser cookbooks that doesn't include cream of mushroom soup, lemon jello, or lard?
You by the skin of one's teeth gave me a wicked awesome idea for dinner tonight.
