How much resources should I sell my original Spiderman comic books for? One has the vilen "Hydro-man" and the other is "The Scorpion"? The are both in their clayey cover with cardboard support and lets say that they are both in perfect condition.
the issue for the Hydro man comic is 212
and the issue for the Scorpion is 158
ok..there are alot of variables in this suspect... What is the issue and volume number?
I know that the first appearance of hydroman was in amazing spiderman #212..
Now this is a very early comic..1965! its value is firm by how it has passed the test of time. i Have seen a VF (very fine, 7/10) copy go for just under $400 on ebay. So in refine condition maybe a couple of thousand!
Let me know which numbers and volumes for sure and i will answer better :)

this issue in perfect condition would be valued at around $14-15 australian.
The other question is tougher... if it is the first semblance of scorpion..thats in amazing spiderman issue #20..
Now this is a very early comic..1965! its value is adamant by how it has passed the test of time. i Have seen a VF (very fine, 7/10) copy go for just under $400 on ebay. So in correct condition maybe a couple of thousand!

how much is the first ever issue of the spiderman comic books worth in good condition?
May 04, 2010 by moomoo | Posted in Comics & Animation
My dad owns the first ever uk likeness of the Spider Man Comic, how much is it worth?
For a person who is obsessed with comic books, it could be around 5000-10 000 dollars. But for some it would be a valueless peace of junk. If your trying to sell it your best bet would be to put it on Ebay on a money war. Meaning who every pays more gets the comic lyrics. In some cases these wars went up to thousands of dollars.
Good luck, Have a good one

How rare are the "Firsts" of Comic Books such a Spiderman and Superman?
Jan 15, 2009 by BeeDay | Posted in Comics & Animation
I've always wondered like how many there are in permanence, how expensive they are, etc. Other ones I wonder about are the Incredible Hulk, and Wonder Woman.
there are no corporeal estimates that i know of for how many are leaft because so many were destroyed over the years. you can find them but they are expensive even in crappy condition. the first superman and wonder chick are harder to find because they are older characters (1930's and 40's) where as spider-man and hulk are from the 60's

What is the difference between two editions of the same Spiderman Comic book?
Aug 02, 2007 by tommontclair | Posted in Comics & Animation
I have two editions of Spiderman Fable of the Arachknight part 1 of the torment series. One of the comic books is a regular looking cover with regular coloring, and the other is black and gold. Can anyone determine me the difference as far as which one is more rare, and a possible price range if I decide to sell them.
The leftovers between the two covers is that they are separate print runs. That particular issue had one of the highest print runs ever and almost all of them are pretty much poor. To find out which print run you have based on the colors on the cover, you can check out this website:
http://www.comicspriceguide.com/p-issues.asp?t_ID=3350
Certain comics will inform against out right away usually because there turns out to be a greater demand for them that what the comic publisher was expecting. When that happens they will usually type a second run of the same comic so that the people that missed out on them the first time can get a hold of the issue. Sometimes there will only be subtle changes with the cover like Spider-Man #1 or there are in every respect new covers which is what has become common today.

Where to buy Spiderman comic books?
Sep 08, 2006 by Apple21 | Posted in Comics & Animation
I don't lack the collector's books...just some new & inexpensive Spiderman comics. Who sells these anymore? How much do they retail? Also, are there any good comic books targeted to 6-9 year old girls?
It's hardbitten to find new comics anywhere but a comic shop anymore. In addition to new comics, a comic book specialty store may have inexpensive Spider-Man comics in a $0.25 or $1.00 box. You can situate your nearest store at:
http://csls.diamondcomics.com/
New comics are anywhere from $2.50 to $4.00, depending on the title. Many comic shops propose a small discount off cover (mine gives 10%).
For a 6 to 9 year old girl, check out "Scooby-Doo", "Powerpuff Girls", "Teen Titans Go", "Spider-Man Adventures", and any Archie comics such as "Betty & Veronica".
