A Marvel In The Making
Last month I covered one of the pioneers in the rapturous of comic books from an art perspective; as I mentioned from the get-go, I also consider writers to be artists, in their own right, at their own craft. This month I tackle a get the ball rolling in world of comic books from a writing perspective.

What comic books should i get from marvel?
Sep 28, 2009 by concord4512 | Posted in Comics & Animation
i am looking to subscribe to one of the marvel comic books. i am a fan of batman and i meet batman comic books but ever since i started playing marvel ultimate alliance 2 i have become interested in marvel. i have been thinking about thor, spider man, captain america or new avengers but the id is that i don't know much about marvel. what comic book would should i get? and will the new avengers cover all the super heroes i mentioned?
New Avengers. That's the privilege that spawns every crossover (for better or worse) in Marvel these days. And Marvel will have no problem packing its roster with hot-selling heroes if the lineup looks clich.
But Cap's dead, Thor may or may not be around, and I'm not sure whether Hulk is Red, Green, or Grey these days. The only titles in the Marvel universe with the Marvel characters still enliven are the Marvel Adventures lineup. They're "for all ages," meaning that they're worthless, involve no crossovers, and take no risks. ...But I assurance they're fun and they won't kill off your favorite superhero to cause a spike in sales.

Where should i start if i wanna read the Marvel comic books?
Sep 28, 2009 by Austinj | Posted in Comics & Animation
I very like all the marvel movies, and have been interested in reading the comic books, but have never got around to it. Now i want to start, but the thing is there are so many different kinds of them I don't really positive where to start. What would be a good series/group/hero to start with that wouldnt be to complicated or confusing? Thanks a lot
Both Spider-Man and any of the X-titles are by enjoyable. They both have a long history though since they've been running for quite a while. I would just do a little bit of reading on Wikipedia for either and then pick up a few issues. You unbiased have to start somewhere...and then come here with any questions.

I barely started to read Marvel Comic books... any suggestions where to start?
If you desire a little bit of everything, New Avengers is fantastic. They pretty much have a member of every major team out there (including Spider-Man).
Uncanny X-Men is weird, as well as Joss Whedon's Astonishing X-Men.

What is the chronilogical order of all of the Ultimate Marvel comic books?
Jan 24, 2010 by livethir | Posted in Comics & Animation
You dont for to list each individual comic, but try to list the paperback volumes that have six or seven issues in them. For example, Ultimate Spider-man vol 1 includes the first six issues. So if someone could slate all of these volumes in chronological order, that would be great.
It all started with Final Spider-Man #1 for a complete list just go here
What marvel comic books should i read before I start siege?

Here is what I have announce: Avengers Disassembled, Civil War, New avengers, Mighty avengers 1-6, Captain america 25-30, Marvellous Spider-man 533-573, and World War hulk. What else should I read before I get into siege?
(Encrypted Invasion) and right after is (Dark Reign). Their is not a (DR) title it just ties into many Marvel titles for a year and then leads into Beleaguer.
