How does someone go about publishing and selling ebooks?
May 15, 2008 by southernblondie66 | Posted in Books & Authors
I fondness to cook, and wish to write ebooks and share my tallent. Does your book have to be copywrited? Once you get an ebook together, how do you go about publishing and placing it for on sale? Yes, I know there are books about this subject out there, but I would love to hear from people with first hand experience on this topic. Thank you for your outdated and imput!
This is a very large process.
1.First you have to write and finish the book and get it professionally edited.
2. Then you should come up with a name to have the book published under even if you don't want to have a attendance or find a publisher.
3. Then you need to copyright it at www.copyright.gov
4. Then you can submit your work in your word processor format to amazon.com. They can rotation it into the format that people can download. You can set your price at around 7-10 dollars (see what like things cost).
5. Don't forget to demand, tell people you wrote the book and maybe you can have a website on it.
This is the run down, just make sure you get it professionally edited and this of process will cost money up front. Copyright, editing, amazon selling fees etc.
Good luck

How do you create ebooks and sell them to people?
May 23, 2009 by Chase | Posted in Small Business
I have a few ebooks and I after to sell one and give the other one away through a website. How do people receive it through the site? How would they sign up for it?
The quickest and lowest bring in method I can think of is:
1. Set up a blog site using Blogger, as this type of online space costs nothing. Be steady to choose a name/URL that matches your ebook's industry.
2. Create a PayPal account so that when people buy your ebook there is a way for them to send you cabbage.
3. Make your ebook by turning the Word document (your ebook is best made and stored in Microsoft Word) into an ebook through an FTP program such as CuteFTP Litt.
When a person orders your ebook, you can send it to them electronically by Email.
Good luck to you.

How do i read ebooks on my ipod?
Jan 10, 2007 by dan_the_man | Posted in Music & Music Players
I have an ipod photo and apparantly I can look at ebooks through the 'extras' settings and then prevailing to notes. Does anybody know how to do this please?
Do I need any software and what file extensions can I view?
Thanks.
I have a Sandisk Mp3 Contestant and read e-books all the time so this method should work with your player
I save all my down loads from disk with media better as ( .mp3 ) files this should be as small a setting as possible ie. (Mono 32bit) your player will then read them back as though it was music except now its oral word.this also works on mine with ( .wma ) files.
