What are the benefits of Quickbooks Pro Advisor Accountancy Program?

Hi,
Can any one let me be sure the benefits of Quickbooks Pro Advisor Program.Would joining the course will help to get the Job as Accountant.
Is the organisations accept these qualifications for accountants in US and other countries.
Since Quickbooks is the #1 software for small-scale businesses, being specialized can not hurt. The pro advisor program is a pretty good deal and will only make you more valuable.
A Pro Advisor does not perforce have to be an accountant, nor do you have to be an Accountant in order to become a Pro Advisor.

How do I adjust the subtotal and total amounts in Quickbooks Pro?
May 19, 9696 by rugthug | Posted in Small Business
The subtotal box on my quickbooks pro invoice shows the tax already premeditated. Then the "total" box shows this same amount. How do I change my invoice template so that the subtotal shows the total without the tax already planned and then the total shows the total of the order with the sales tax? Thanks.
I can get to the point where I can edit the invoice but can't figure out how to setup the sales tax correctly.
Go to LISTS--TEMPLATES..chooses model to change. Choose ADDITIONAL CUSTIMIZATION..FOOTER TAB and choose Footers you want (ie. subtotal, sales tax, complete or balance due.) Hope this helps. I am working on 2007 version. Sometimes only the Admin has editing right to templates.
You have to set up the sales tax in the Particular LIST. Depending on the state you are in, you may have to set up discresionary on top of a flat rate. You will have to do the base/flat rate and the discresionary seperately and then do a new organize for them to be linked together.

What is the best book or website to learn QuickBooks Pro?
Jan 07, 2009 by edshedlock63 | Posted in Small Business
I have the (performers-issued) QuickBooks manual, and the "Dummies" book on it; but was wondering if there is any particular book or website that cuts to the go out after & shows/tells you the best way to set up & use QuickBooks Pro.
The most appropriate Quickbooks book I ever saw was one that was used to teach in a community college class I took. It took you step by step in scholarship how to do all the transactions, while giving you a little accounting theory too.
Unfortunately, the one I used is long out of print and outdated. I would omit by your local community college and go to their bookstore and see what book they use to teach that class. I'm sure they have one.
It may be a tad late, but the class was incredibly valuable when I took it.

How do I record monies received for babysitting in Quickbooks Pro 2007?
Feb 16, 2008 by balilay | Posted in Software
My quiet owns a small business (incorporated) and i do babysitting on the side for extra cash. All the financial data is being recorded in Quickbooks Pro 2007, but I'm not unfaltering how to record the monies I receive for babysitting. In his business, I invoice customers and record payments received. Do i invoice my customers for payments received for babysitting? Is it categorized under job profits?
If his charge is incorporated you would not even put your money in his books. The way you could do it if you needed is enter it as Owner Investment and do the deposit using your Equity account
