Shadow Complex script penned by comic book scribe Peter David
Epic Games and Microsoft Scheme Studios are ramping up for the impending release of Chair Entertainment's Shadow Complex on XBLA, today revealing that the stratagem's script was written by Eisner Award winning author Peter David. David has worked on individual comic book titles for numerous imprints, but is probably best known for his run on The Incredible Hulk. He currently writes She-Ox and X-Factor for Marvel.
The script for Shadow Complex is adapted from work by sci-fi author and visionary Orson Scott Plan, whose 2006 novel, Empire, is based on the game's universe and an original concept by game designer Donald Mustard. David has written a geste that parallels the events of the novel, which itself focuses on a future American civil war. We recently saw the game in action and wrote up our impressions.
David, Mustard and Epic's Escarpment Bleszinski will be on-hand at next week's San Diego Comic-Con to promote the game, which hits the Xbox Live Marketplace on August 19.

How To Sell Old Comic Books - Ways To Get Top Dollar For Your Old Comic Books?
Sep 18, 2008 by Hello | Posted in Comics & Animation
Are there any mild ways to get a good price for your comic book collection? I'm trying to sell old comic books that I have, online.
The simplest way to handle old comics for dollars (rather than cents) is to have them sealed and graded before putting them for sale online. This instantly protects the value of your comic books and increases client interest in purchasing your collection.

Have them graded and inform against them on ebay.

you should unquestionably sell to an actual comic book store.
they'll be more knowledgeable about your books and how much they're worth than a website.

Is there a site online where I can read old comic books for free?
Oct 17, 2008 by Lola | Posted in Comics & Animation
Like the old drill Superman Comic Books? Is there a site any of you know about? Not Manga sites or anything, but DC comics.
Thanks a lot!
There acclimatized to be a site with scans of a lot of 1930s and 1940s comics scans up, but I think DC made them shut it down. Other than pirated copy swapping (which is against Yahoo's terms of navy, so don't ask for 'em here) and excerpts like Scans Daily or superdickery.com, I don't think there's any free online versions of golden age DC comics directly now. Or pay online, for that matter. DC's a bit behind the times on that one.

How should I sell my old comic books?
Dec 19, 2008 by K | Posted in Comics & Animation
I have 4 large-hearted boxes of comic books from the 1990s that I want to sell. How can I get the most value out of them? Should I sell them on eBay, to a comic store, or post an ad online or in the newspaper? Should I sell them individually, or in groups? Are the values listed in those comic book value guides accurate?
Ebay if you only have a few
If you have hundreds you should set up at comic order Show.
You can get the times and addresses off the inter net
My guess is that you probably have between $200.00 and $400 worth of comics (250 to a box) unless there are some bosom editions.
Sold in bulk you can get between .20 to.30 cents each. The smaller the lots you sell the more you can get out of each. Individually some of them could produce more than the list price.
Without knowing what books you have, and their condition all of the above is only random thinking or BS
