Kurt Vonnegut is another great author.
If you haven't read the Left Behind series, try those out.
Stephen King's Dusky Tower series was amazing.
I was always a fan of Isaac Asimov. Fantastic Voyage was one of my all time favorites.
1984 and Animal Land are good Orwell books.

Why don't you get some classics that you never announce and some new books that just came out or made it onto the bestselling lists?
Maybe get foreign literary work, like the french classics printed in English (of surely) like Les Miserables.

The Approach, by Cormac McCarthy, is a superb read (plus, it's about to be made into a movie, so you'll be ahead of the curve if you read it now).

how should I maintain my bank account in quick books?
May 06, 2009 by vpdps | Posted in Small Business
I have a petty business and i do business with a bank checking account for my business. In quick books, to pay a monthly electricity bill, should I debit the electric society and credit the utilities account or credit the cash account?
You debit the utilities expense account and trust the cash (checking) account.
The electric company will simply be the "vendor".
Hope that helps. :0)

How does one enter outside data into quick books?
Jan 26, 2008 by ferdievansteen | Posted in Software
We have accrued facts in another program and want to start using quick books but it would take forever to transfer it. Is there an easier way ?
I have toughened these programs for many years and I don't believe you can transfer data into Quick Books. Manuel entry is the only way. I would love to know that I am wrong.

I need a professional to come to my office to teach me quick books. where can I find someone like that?

The biller in our room left and I've been appointed the job, but know very little about quick books. I need someone to sit down with me and explain/show me in detail exactly what I need to do/know. I'm already falling behind and be in want of to catch up quickly.
Go to Quickbooks web leaf. They have a list of certified Pro Advisors. I do this in the Dallas, TX area if you are close.

I very recently bought software on my personal credit card because my company's debit card doesn't have a high enough limit. What is the apt way to enter this in Quick Books?
House EXPENSE UNDER OFFICE SUPPLIES AND PUT AS MUCH DESCRIPTION AS TO WHAT THE PURCHASE WAS EACH COMPANY HAS THEIR OWN WAY OF CATEGORIZING THEIR SPENDING LOGS.
