Nothing unluckly about this Friday the 13th sunset, good manners of the big "cut off" low to our southwest spinning up a lot of cirrus, as witnessed from the tidepools on the north end of North Bird Cove, suburban San Diego.

Color Symbolism in Literature?
Feb 22, 2008 by gabriel_d_popuch | Posted in Books & Authors
what are customary meanings for these colors when used as symbols?
gold/yellow
gray
blue
red
green
Connotations to yellow very greatly. Often yellow is associated with jubilation, optimism, intelligence, wealth, etc. In some cases, yellow is used as a symbol of deceit. In the middle ages, yellow was a shibboleth of the devil, and so was green.
Gray, also, can be connected with very different things: from elegance, stability, and wisdom, to boredom, dullness, and sackcloth
Blue is a symbol of men, the sea, productivity, unity, nobility, strength, and steadfastness
Red is a symbol of passion, strength, energy, goal, and leadership. It is also a symbol of blood and war and anger.
Green is a symbol of youth and fertility, good luck and vigor. Also a token of misfortune and jealousy.
Hope I helped! And these are just some of many, many color symbols.
