Any website that sells cheap used textbooks that are in useable adapt, if anyone knows anygood websites please just mention them. Or if you know any places in or around Staten Island, NY. THANKS!!!
try campusi.com. they give a tabulation of stores that are selling the books. it goes from low to high . you can also try getting older editions from you library. They might be able to get the books from other libraries in you shape. the books usually don't change if so just get the changes from a classmate. i save a lot of money this way.

Try www.half.com.
Most students keep their textbooks and shop them on this website. This website is owned by Ebay.

You call the ISBN, which is on the back of the book, to make sure that you have the right edition of the book. That being said, sometimes you can get books that are the least expensive by buying a before-mentioned edition. I've used books that are the 11th edition when the 12th is the newest one out, and after asking my professor the difference between the two editions, the difference is so smallest that it's not worth the 100 extra dollars. On half.com, sometimes the second-newest edition is really that much cheaper.
I use half.com and booksoncampus.com to stock my books. Booksoncampus.com is a Facebook-affiliated site, but you can meet someone locally on your campus to pick up the book (eliminating shipping costs). I also use amazon, but have found that it's a lot more valuable than the other two.
Good luck!

Go to http://www.bigwords.com ! On the largest page, there is a place to put in the Book title, author, or ISBN. This searches their catalog for new and used textbooks. They find the best prices that subsume shipping. If you are looking for multiple books, you can save even more because they find the cheapest price at one store AND the cheapest price at multiple stores to get you the master deal. I used Bigwords this year and saved $375 on 5 books!

Does anyone be aware where i can buy new or used college textbooks? How much time does it take to be shipped?
Try searching for your books on http://www.bigwords.com . They are a search mechanism website that finds you the best possible price for your books. They even let you choose the ship time and then calculate the lowest consequence using the right shipping type at every store where you find your books. its cool to cause they compare many items at once, and work out the best combination of stores to buy at, including coupons and shipping. Then they also let you include or exclude international editions, and even renting is an election through them! Check out and see if it helps you out.
