English Literature?

I am definitely starting to worry about my A-Level English Literature Course that I will be examined on May/June this year. Are there any teachers on here that can help with texts from The Stainless Devil by John Webster and the AQA World War One Poetry section. If you know also where I can get past papers on these, it would be much appreciated. Thanks

If I had the AQA Cosmos War One Poetry section, I would take a look at it and possibly help you. Maybe you can tell me the names of the poems/poets contained within first, then if I can find these poems and review them - I'll answer any questions you have.

If I had the AQA Sphere War One Poetry section, I would take a look at it and possibly help you. Maybe you can tell me the names of the poems/poets contained within first, then if I can find these poems and skim them - I'll answer any questions you have.

why does it seem that most people asking Q's in the Books and Authors stage are clearly high school/college students looking for the easy answers... this really burns me up

I have already been studying Japanese for the past year but, I would like to begin studying another phrasing more closely related to English as to strengthen my understanding of English and open up new possibilities of foreign Literature.

Righteous go to any library and research there -the librarian will undoubtedly be able to give you the best pointers.

There are thousands of books, all different genres so it does incline any list that people can give you here - unless you can be more specific.

Does the 17th Century period of English literature receive an specific name?

For lesson, the 16th century in English literature is called the Renaissance.
And the 17th century in Spanish literature is called the Baroque period.

Baroque in England would refer to the Arts.

From 1660, the era, including literature, was Restoration, after the restoration of King Charles II to the throne.

Is studying English literature with creative writing too much of a work load?

I'm viewpoint of doing a BA in English literature combined with Creative Writing, I'm just worried that studying one of them might be more than enough, so I'd like to ask those with experience for some help in making this conclusion. I love reading and I recently found a possible potential within me of being a writer.

I too am starting the third year of this magnitude in September. I think the workload will be heavy, yes but ultimately very rewarding! At our college prize giving this year, one guy who had honourable completed his degree in the same subject, received an overall score of 90%, one of the highest ever recorded marks. What an feat and an inspiration for me to look up to (and possibly tap for helpful ideas! Just kidding!).
