Other than Ebay and Amazon where can I buy Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys books?
Oct 31, 2007 by Shawna | Posted in Books & Authors
I demand to find some Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys books but on Ebay and Amazon you have to bid on them. Does anyone know where else I could go to find some???
Depends on which ones. There is a new, modern series accessible in bookstores now. The old hardback ones have also been re-released. I've seen them in Borders and B and N.
If you mean, the casefiles from the 1980s (the blue paperbacks), ebay is tenable your best bet. You can also troll used bookstores but that can be hit or miss (usually miss).
Can't believe someone buys those beside me.

If you mean, the casefiles from the 1980s (the filthy paperbacks), ebay is likely your best bet. You can also troll used bookstores but that can be hit or miss (usually miss).
Can't have the courage of one's convictions pretend someone buys those beside me.

I've had propitious luck finding the old books at yard sales. Some eBay stores have Buy It Now buttons on their items.

I have hardcover, gigantic condition Hardy Boys books. Numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 12, 26, 27, 32, 35, 39, 41, 42, 45. How much are they worth?
Difference between original and reprinted Hardy Boys Books?
Oct 24, 2008 by JJ | Posted in Books & Authors
My grandpa has the originals in his library and I have all of them with the same titles (new covers and such), but I experience like mine read differently? Were they revised or rewritten? I think I like my grandpa's versions are better for some discuss with.
They have revised the books several times. When they do that, they on the whole update the books by changing the cars, clothes, haircuts, and other minor details. The Hardy Boys were updated in the 50's or 60's. In the unusual versions, the books are longer, i.e. 'It Happened at Midnight', they cut out several chapters. I like the older versions too and have picked them up at yard sales. The older ones have more account in. So borrow your Grandpa's books to read and enjoy.

what are hardy boys books worth?
May 09, 2006 by looky | Posted in Books & Authors
I have 1-40 and some others that reaches 58 Hardy Boys mysterys.
It depends on the printing and condition of the books. If you have a set of first editions in good or excellent condition, they might be worth quite a bit of money, perhaps hundreds of dollars. Fruitless condition and later printings are worth very little, perhaps a hundred dollars altogether. Search http://www.alibris.com using the scrupulous titles and dates of your books to see what others are asking for them in the used book trade.
