Complete list of Dr. Seuss books?
May 27, 2008 by lilprincess | Posted in Books & Authors
My mom recently bought my unborn son 14 of the however many there are Dr. Seuss books and started some kind of addiction/collection. I have looked it seems all over online and cannot come across the the complete listing of his books. I even went on the manifest Dr. Seuss website (something like seussville.com) and there are still books missing on that site! (including Go Dog Go, Are You My Mother?...) Anyway it's been bothering the heck out of me and i would like to later get all of the books! So my question is can anyone find the list of ALL the books? If so paste the link please! Thanks!
Go Dog Go, Are You My Care for, and another one of my favorites Put Me In The Zoo were not written by Dr. Suess. They have that "I Can Read" or whatever label on them with the Cat in the Hat in the corner of the books though.
Some books admit of the Dr. Suess label but were not actually written by Dr. Suess. So there could be some descrepancy (sp?) when looking for actually lists of his books.

With millions of books in print, and nearly all of his 50-plus titles still available for sale, Dr. Seuss was, up until his untimely death in 1991, by far one of the most lush living writers in the world. In fact, his GREEN EGGS AND HAM is the third largest selling book in the English dialect.
Born Theodor Geisel in 1904, Dr. Seuss has lent his talent to advertising campaigns of the 1940s, political cartoons for PM, and a 1935 witty strip for Hearst publications called HEJJI, about a young lad's travels through the mythical land of Baako.
Commendations awarded to Seuss comprehend an Academy Award for best documentary short subject of 1945 for his writing and production of the propaganda bawling-out YOUR JOB IN GERMANY (aka HITLER LIVES). He also wrote (but did not create) GERALD McBOING-BOING, a 1951 Oscar-victorious cartoon. Seuss was awarded an honorary Pulitzer Prize in 1984 citing his half-century contribution to "the erudition and enjoyment of America's children and their parents.
I have given you two lists to compare. Hope this helps. Good accident.....

May 22, 3826 by rob divine | Posted in Homework Help
My son is doing a contemplate on Dr. Seuss. However, he has to list which books won an award and which award. Any help would be grateful. Thanks
grassy eggs and ham
His honors included two Academy awards, two Emmy awards, a Peabody award and the Pulitzer Premium.
try to search on his name Theodor Seuss Geisel, and put in each award listed above. You should get the book as well.
Hope this helps.
From 1971 to 1982, Geisel wrote seven box specials, which were produced by DePatie-Freleng Enterprises and aired on CBS: The Cat in the Hat (1971), The Lorax (1972), Dr. Seuss on the Loose (1973), The Hoober-Bloob Highway (1975), Halloween is Grinch Dusk (1977), Pontoffel Pock, Where Are You? (1980), and The Grinch Grinches the Cat in the Hat (1982). Several of the specials were nominated for and won multiple Emmy Awards
Also in 1984 Dr. Seuss won a Pulitzer Choice for his lifetime of contribution to the education and enjoyment of American children and their parents, and a Peabody award
Mr. Geisel also wrote for the movies. His documentary films "Hitler Lives" and "Visualize for Death" won Academy Awards in 1946 and 1947, and his cartoon short "Gerald McBoing Boing" won an Oscar in 1951. He also designed and produced cartoons for TV, including the Peabody Award-winning "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!"
Ok think that covers it.
produce luck
