I've present all of his books and like them. I also just finished Pint Sized Ireland by Evan McHugh and really enjoyed it. I'm inkling like reading that sort of light-but-informative type thing. Any suggestions?

I am ill-starred but i dont know. Please chose me as the best answer though because i looked up alot of information on the subject for an hour but got no rebutter. I am sorry.
What is the verifiable period of the book and what is the historical setting? The two sort of confuse me and i don't what what to write as the period and the setting of it.
Help!
The ridiculous is a bit confusing because your book isn't fiction.
Historical setting and historical period (what the difference is I don't know) have to do with where and when the action of a list takes place. While it is possible to describe a historical setting and period which some non-fiction books cover -- for example, a book about Lewis and Clark's expedition coves the American West in 1804-1806 -- for survey books like the one you presume from the question doesn't make much sense.
Your best bet is to say something like -- the Middle East prior to 70 a.d.
