Will there be a Quickbooks 2009 Mac coming out this Fall?
Sep 29, 2008 by Kyle | Posted in Personal Finance
I recently switched over to Mac and prerequisite to purchase Quickbooks again. Does anyone know if, and when, a 2009 Quickbooks Mac will be coming out? I don't want to buy 2008 right now if 2009 is almost about to be released. Any confirmations?
Yes, QuickBooks 2009 for MAC is already out. It's for yard sale on the Intuit website. Intuit is the company that produces QuickBooks

Is there a good QuickBooks for Mac user forum somewhere?
Jul 20, 2009 by jessewclark | Posted in Renting & Real Estate
I proper bought QuickBooks for Mac 2009. I want to use it to manage the properties I own. I would love to find an online forum somewhere with helpful people. The forums on Intuit's website don't trade very well. Does anybody know of such a thing?
Does Quickbooks work with Mac computers?
Sep 29, 2008 by sushine slc | Posted in Programming & Design
I have a MacBook and I simply started as an Administrative assistant. My boss wants me to bring my lap top to work and put quickbooks on it at her expense. They have a copy of quickbooks for their pc that they said could put on mine, but they dont be informed i have a mac. So my question is will that same version of Quickbooks work with my mac?
There is a Mac story of QuickBooks. However, if you want to switch your company's existing QuickBooks PC file over to the Mac, you'll have to do some reseach. According to the QuickBooks website, if you're using QuickBooks 2009 on the PC, you can deliver your data over to the Mac 2009 version. According to the website: "Yes. QuickBooks for Mac can upgrade QuickBooks for Windows 2009 (Enterprise issue excluded) company files directly from within the product."
But I know for a fact that this was not possible with earlier versions of QuickBooks on the PC. I have been waiting for years to exchange over without losing 12 years of data.
You may want to call Intuit. Tell them what version of QuickBooks your company is using now, and ask them if you will be accomplished to transfer the company file to QuickBooks 2009 on the Mac, AND be sure to ask if all the data will be intact upon transfer.

Quickbooks for Mac or Quickbooks for Windows?
Dec 31, 2008 by meandmyanimals1 | Posted in Software
I'm getting a new iMac that I will be running Windows on. I am current to be buying Quickbooks as well.
Anyone have any advice whether QB for MAC 2009 or QB for Windows will be better?
Thanks.
QuickBooks for Windows is more pungent - it has easier screens. The Mac version was significantly upgraded in 2009 so it is better than previous, but receiving tech pay for on the mac version is harder

Is it worth the expense to uprade to quickbooks 2007 for mac?
Aug 28, 2007 by rnscrappyd | Posted in Other - Business & Finance
I'm currently using 2006 Pro and it is glitchy as abode of the damned. I've been using QB for PC for years and have been completely frustrated with the mac version. I was told that the 2007 version has fixed all or most of the problems with 2006, but I am not sold.
Can anyone who is impudent with 2007 Pro for mac tell me what they think?
Young lady it! Doesn't look like much when you look at the upgrades but it is so much more user-friendly. You will not regret this if you upgrade.
