Removing and old tree on the campus of Pacific University University, Forest Grove, Oregon. I expect that this tree was in danger of falling onto the adjacent building. The man on the tree was about ready to climb up and trim off the remaining upland branches.

I neediness to buy some college textbooks, and this is my first year so I don't know much about buying them. I searched the net for these websites and couldn't find all I need. Any website that sells cheap used textbooks that are in useable ready, if anyone knows anygood websites please just mention them. Or if you know any places in or around Staten Island, NY. THANKS!!!
try campusi.com. they give a catalogue of stores that are selling the books. it goes from low to high . you can also try getting older editions from you library. They might be able to get the books from other libraries in you brilliance. the books usually don't change if so just get the changes from a classmate. i save a lot of money this way.

Try www.half.com.
Most students keep their textbooks and merchandise them on this website. This website is owned by Ebay.

You sine qua non the ISBN, which is on the back of the book, to make sure that you have the right edition of the book. That being said, sometimes you can get books that are the least expensive by buying a quondam edition. I've used books that are the 11th edition when the 12th is the newest one out, and after asking my professor the difference between the two editions, the difference is so least that it's not worth the 100 extra dollars. On half.com, sometimes the second-newest edition is really that much cheaper.
I use half.com and booksoncampus.com to retail my books. Booksoncampus.com is a Facebook-affiliated site, but you can meet someone locally on your campus to pick up the book (eliminating shipping costs). I also use amazon, but have found that it's a lot more costly than the other two.
Good luck!

Go to http://www.bigwords.com ! On the most important page, there is a place to put in the Book title, author, or ISBN. This searches their catalog for new and used textbooks. They find the best prices that file shipping. If you are looking for multiple books, you can save even more because they find the cheapest price at one store AND the cheapest price at multiple stores to get you the outdo deal. I used Bigwords this year and saved $375 on 5 books!

Does anyone conscious where i can buy new or used college textbooks? How much time does it take to be shipped?
Try searching for your books on http://www.bigwords.com . They are a search appliance website that finds you the best possible price for your books. They even let you choose the ship time and then calculate the lowest payment using the right shipping type at every store where you find your books. its cool to cause they compare many items at once, and determine the best combination of stores to buy at, including coupons and shipping. Then they also let you include or exclude international editions, and even renting is an opportunity through them! Check out and see if it helps you out.
