Should I buy a Kindle for my dad? He travels a lot, reads, would want him to have audio books while he drives.?

My dad is stressed because of the restraint.

He travels A LOT. And I know he reads a bunch and I figured a nice present would brighten his mood.

What is the best Be good enough to to get through Amazon.com... any place I can get a discount or coupon?

I know he likes reading and I hear audio books are offered so I figured peradventure in the car while he is driving?

Also, does it play music?

For someone who travels, needs some chill time, I'd like to offer him something where he can get titanic info, books, clips and music? does it offer anything else?

What are the best features?

Audiobooks are enormous, you can listen to them on Kindle, too. But I couldn't pay attention to the audiobook and driving at the same time :)

You can only get the Whip up reader from Amazon. It is there proprietary product. So Amazon is your best source for technical information on the by-product.

Since I don't know your dad at all, it's not possible to say whether he would appreciate such a present or not. I read all the time, and listen to audio books in the car sometimes, but I wouldn't want a Set alight myself. I just don't care for the experience of "e-reading".

Well, I have a Sony E-Reader, which is very alike resemble to the Kindle. I think the Kindle has a bigger selection of books, but I bought the Sony because it came with 100 free classics. They can trade on music, but you can't buy an audio book- on the Sony anyways. I think the newer Kindle can read the book, not sure about the older idea. The Sony E-Reader is also cheaper. I think that would be a great gift for your dad, especially since he travels so much. It does take some getting toughened to, but I love my ereader.

Do other stay at home moms listen to audiobooks?

I ask about audio books because I have found them to be Cyclopean company while I work around the house or at the computer. This month I'm continuing my quest to learn French!

I've been using http://www.choice-audiobooks-download.com for my downloadable audiobooks. I've found the audiobooks the library publishes online to be less than suiting. I just go to this website and buy discounted audio books and instanter download them.

Does anyone else do this?

My mom listens to audiobooks very often. She has learned Spanish, Greek and Italian after many years of dedicated audiobooking.
