What's your favorite bookstore section? Why?

You've perfectly walked into the bookstore of your dreams. Whether it's a sparkling new warehouse with every recent release on the market, or a tiny, cozy independent store with a resident cat and a few overstuffed chairs, it's bound to be organized in some way. Where do you go? Philosophy? Psychology? Cooking? Fiction? Travel? Which section do you loaf to first? And what do you like about it?
my favorite record store right now is Borders because they have an awesome history section! I was there yesterday too actually. I love history, so in any bookstore you'll always see me in that sample!

Help with Psychology Book (Kosslyn)?
Jan 18, 2007 by bicho | Posted in Books & Authors
So I have to buy "Psychology in surround" and in the college bookstore they are selling the "customized" version for $124 ....on Amazon they have the "standard" version for 1/2 the price....Is there any difference between these two books? Should I buy the amazon one?
So, are you frustrating to decide whether to spend a lot of money on a 'customised' version, or half that on a 'normal' version?
Do you really need someone to reproach you what to do here?

What is the status of online books these days?
Feb 20, 2009 by davester | Posted in Books & Authors
I'm current to be working overseas and will not have access to either a library or a bookstore, and so I'm wondering about the availability of online books, especially in the genres of spirituality, psychology, and self-inform appropriate. Thanks in advance.
Well, there are no spare published books on the web (worth reading), so I would suggest using Kindle or that palm library for your PDA.

In A Community College Class, do we buy books before or after?
Jul 15, 2008 by KLH | Posted in Teaching
Next week im starting two college classes: Psychology and english,[ my first college classes ever] and i dont be versed if i should go to the bookstore and buy books or wait til the teacher tells me or maybe yells at me. I'd appreciate any kind of help.
Im 18 years old im uneasy.
First off, don't be difficult - you'll do fine. If the school hasn't sent you a notice regarding books, then be prepared to get a list of what you'll need during the first extraction. Usually, most schools work that way - the teacher will tell you what you need. You may be able to go to the bookstore and ask for a class list - they usually have to set lists of courses and required texts... But it's usually best to wait to see what your teachers have to say.
Best wishes! and charge out of!
