What is the r of a literature review in research? What's it mean to "review" the literature? Get the big picture of what to ...

I have a BA in English Literature and I'm currently working. However, I'm starting to feel remorse for not having done a masters in the subject so I was looking into a long distance programme, but I haven't found any in literature.
UWE (University of the west of england).
okay. i'm about to go in for an economics bba performance for my undergraduate, but then, i'm actually not at all passionate about the subject. i want to do this now, but later, maybe for my post grad, i want to take arts, basically english literature or place. is that possible? i don't want to be stuck doing something i don't love for the rest of my life. can anyone give me advice? plus, what sucks even more is that there is not literature or the stage minor in my current university.
You will demand to do, what people call in my part of the world, compensation or deficiency courses. When you switch majors, you have to make sure you and your other fellow students in your division (in masters) are all on the same platform.
So universities mostly ask you to pass some undergrad courses of your choice of major FIRST (probably in Summer) and then start off with your form. Or, you can take them with your normal courseload too.
I know it sounds hard, but those who are really passionate about their subjects, they do work hard and calling it out. GOOD LUCK!
I will be graduating this year from Northwestern University with an MA in Literature. I'm hoping that I'll be skilled to land a job that pays well, but don't know where to look. I'd like to write, but not necessarily a novel or anything. Just looking for something compelling that pays well, has good benefits. I'd also like to teach. I just need some ideas, preferably if you have an MA in Lit and can tell me what your job is like.
I have an M.A. in Litt, and I business for an e-learning firm as an Instructional Designer. It's kinda like being a teacher - only, you create content for courses that go online, and you never link up your students! It pays all right - I'm happy!
I think there are many jobs out there for M.A. Litt people! As long as you don't confine yourself to belief there's only so much you can do, the possibilities are limitless! Good luck!
and which university is beat in ontario to register in to study english literature?
I am a raw graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English here in the Philippines. I graduated in college with Honors.
If your masters will be in English lit. (not in knowledge, which is different--can't help you there) and if you will be a full-time student and willing to be a teaching assistant, it will be free at many if not most universities. Admission is competetive, but if you get in, it's paid for and you will come into a small stipend in return for teaching a beginning class for undergraduates.
Choose some universities to apply to, and if there is no gen on the department's web page for graduate applicants about tuition waivers or teaching assistantships, send an e-mail to ask whether they are handy and whether they are automatically offered to all admitted students.
Again, this doesn't apply to masters programs in education, only ones in English.
